Tour operators will meet to increase innovation

November 4, 2018 by Staff News Writer

Costa Rica is chosen as a tourist destination for adventure and relaxation by about three million people each year. This is one of the most important economic activities in the country, producing revenues of about $ 3 million per year.

Tour operators play an important role in the chain of the sector. Therefore, they will meet on November 8th with the aim of innovating and improving practices to attract local and foreign tourists.

The Costa Rican Association of Tourism Operators (ACOT) will have its Seventh National Meeting at the Radisson Hotel. There, they will be able to create strategic alliances between entrepreneurs and service providers, as well as training on generational marketing and communication in crisis.

Alberto López, General Manager of the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) highlighted the work carried out by tourism operators.
