The exchange rate increased ¢5 during the week

The exchange rate rose again this Thursday in the Foreign Currency Market (Monex). So far this week, the increase is ¢5.18.

At the end of the trading day, the wholesale average reached ¢ 609.59, a figure similar to the on from November 23rd.

This is the eighth consecutive increase since the beginning of the month. During this period, the Central Bank has also continued to intervene in Monex with exchange stabilization operations, through the sale of foreign currency.

The rate has also risen in the banks. At 1:00 p.m. on Thursday it ranged from ¢611 to ¢615.
