US Attorney General Bill Barr said on Thursday that special prosecutor Robert Mueller’s report concluded that there was no cooperation between the campaign of Donald Trump and the Russians in the 2016 elections.
The attorney general said Trump did not act to thwart Mueller’s investigation amid accusations of obstruction of justice.
However, he also indicated that the White House cooperated with the special investigation.
Doubts and suspicion have continued to hover in the air despite Barr’s assurance on March 24th that Mueller’s investigation found no criminal collusion of Trump’s campaign with Russia, and that evidence of obstruction of justice by the US president is insufficient.
