President Alvarado: “We will announce new jobs and investments”

June 11, 2019 by Staff News Writer

On Sunday, President Carlos Alvarado said that from this Monday, the Executive Power will announce new jobs, investments, simplification plans for procedures, housing and infrastructure projects and improvements in the financial conditions of private sector companies and indebted people. All this as part of a plan to reactivate the national economy.

He added that he instructed the entire state apparatus to “do everything necessary” to facilitate the conditions of job creation, remove obstacles, speed up procedures, and speed up credits.

For the moment, the President’s agenda for this week includes the announcement of the creation of the National Employment System. On Tuesday the announcement is scheduled in the free zone of Coyol de Alajuela.

Alvarado promised last week a greater involvement of his part in this national problem, which has 276 thousand Ticos without work.
