Only 129 health officials joined the strike this Tuesday

The participation of health officials in the strike this Tuesday was minimal in the medical centers of the country.

This was confirmed by the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS), indicating that only 129 workers answered the call to demonstrate.

According to data from the Medical Management of the CCSS, of the 129 officials in the movement, 52% belong to national hospitals, 33% to the Chorotega region (Guanacaste and Upala) and 16% to the South Central region (San José and Cartago).

According to the occupational category, 48% of these employees are from pharmacy, 23% from general services, 20% from nursing, and others from areas such as laundry, laboratory, networks and social work.
