Alleged ISIS terrorists are already in national territory

The General Directorate of Immigration informed that at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the Nicaraguan police authorities deported the four people identified with alleged links to terrorist organizations, such as ISIS, to the border of Peñas Blancas, Costa Rica.

The three men, surnamed Ibrahim, Eissa and Mohamed, and a fourth identified as Yaoob, of Iraqi nationality are being transferred by the Professional Migration Police, with the necessary custody protocols, to the Central Region Apprehension Center where the corresponding security measures for highly dangereous people will be taken,”

They also justified that the detainees will be in this headquarters until their deportation becomes effective.

According to Migration, the alleged terrorists would have entered the national territory on June 9th, as part of the controlled flow maintained by Panama and Costa Rica.

Authorties consulted the captured biometric data and it was negative, since at the date of admission they did not have alerts in the national and international security systems. To date, after the Nicaraguan officers delivered the detainees to the Costa Rican Migration Police, the subjects still do not have alerts in the international systems.
