5G near Costa Rica

On September 19th, a group of experts from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) will give a talk about the 5G networks that are currently being used in the world with a high impact on the industry, Commerce and homes.

The talks of the experts will take place within the framework of the Second International Congress of Engineering: Technological Trends, which will be held at the headquarters of the Fidélitas University. The event will be open to the public.

The exhibitors of the IDB will be Dr. Arturo Azcorra, professor of telematics at the Carlos Tercero University, in Madrid; Dr. Peter Cooper, from the Department of Computer Science at Sam Houston State University, Texas; Dr. Brad Gliswson, director of the Cyberforense Intelligence Center of the same Texas university; Dr. Junkun Ma, from the Department of Engineering and Technology of that house of higher studies; Dr. Walter Greenleaf, director of the Laboratory of Virtual Human Interaction, at the University of Standford, who is also an advisor to the World Economic Forum.

Some of the topics that experts will develop in Costa Rica are what is 5G and why is it disruptive? Support for the management of digital evidence through distributed systems, strategy to establish a cyber forensic intelligence center, rapid prototyping systems and their applications and the fourth Industrial Revolution, VR, AR and AI applications.
