Dollar is still volatile

The exchange reate continues to show volatility in the Monex wholesale market, after rising ¢16 in two weeks, these last days it fell.

At the end of the session in the Monex wholesale market on Monday, the price of the dollar was ¢576.9, while on September 5th it stood at ¢ 581.3.

On the other hand, in financial institutions it stands at ¢584, on average.

Normally, this month is characterized by a higher demand for dollars, given that companies are preparing for fiscal closure and to acquire merchandise for the high season of trade.

So far in 2019, the lowest reported price is ¢565.
