Foreigner couple was murdered in Alajuelita

September 11, 2019 by Staff News Writer

A video shows the terrible scene of the double homicide of a couple in a car on Tuesday afternoon in Alajuelita.

Apparently, according to witness version, two subjects aboard a motorcycle would be responsible for the double murder.

According to the Costa Rican Red Cross (CRC), the 25-year-old woman and the 30-year-old man did not show vital signs when the lifeguards arrived at the scene. The victims received several bullet impacts on various parts of the body.

The area was closed by the police authorities, in front of the Alajuelita church, waiting for agents of the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ), who will clarify the motive for double murder, as well as find those responsible.

The bodies will be taken to Forensic Medicine in order to practice the respective autopsy.
