CNE reports sewer flooding

The National Emergency Commission (CNE) reported several floods in the Guarco, Cartago, and La Unión sector due to heavy rains.

In a press release they indicated that many of the reports are sewer saturation.

The municipal emergency committee (CME) of Cartago reports more than 20 incidents,”

they said.

The National Meteorological Institute reported that isolated showers and thunderstorms were expected for the night in the Pacific.
