Tropical wave flooded some areas

Tropical wave number 39 caused rains in the last hours that in turn generated 10 floods in some areas of the country.

Sigifredo Pérez, chief of operations of the National Emergency Commission (CNE) said that floods were registered in the western part of the Central Valley, as well as Abangares, Nicoya, Santa Cruz and the Central Pacific.

According to Pérez, as a result of the tropical wave, 26 events were registered on Tuesday, October 8th.
