Dry season consolidates in the Central Valley

November 25, 2019 by Staff News Writer

The dry season began to consolidate in the Central Valley, the National Meteorological Institute (IMN) confirmed on Sunday.

The dry season has already begun to settle. That does not mean that there won’t be any more rain when we have a phenomenon,”

said Juan Diego Naranjo, of the IMN.

According to the seasonal climate forecast from November this year to January 2020, summer will be consolidated in the Central Pacific between December 12th and 16th, and in the South Pacific between December 31st and January 4th. In the North Pacific, it has already been established.

While in the North Zone and the Caribbean, the rains of the time will continue.

According to the same report, droughts are not forecast in the country and temperatures nationwide will be normal.

The season of northern winds and cold fronts will be normal between November and December, but will decrease between January and February.
