Together, they presented a proposal of 2.13%, plus an additional adjustment of 2.5% for domestic service and other positions with lower salaries.

The second proposal was submitted by Bloque Unitario Sindical y Social Costarricense, which aims to an increase of 2.76%, plus an additional 2% for domestic service.

On the other hand, the Sindicato de Trabajadores de la Empresa Pública y Privada wants an increased adjustment of 3.5%

The representatives of the employers’ sector will have the opportunity to present their proposals on June, 13th, whereas the Government will make its proposal two days later, when the final figure will be defined.
