Electric buoys near the HNN

June 17, 2016 by Staff News Writer

The National Power and Light Company (CNFL) will place electric buoys in the power grid between Avenues 4 and 6, lanes 28 and 30, near the National Children’s Hospital (HNN) to simplify the landing of helicopters with critical cases.

These devices are part of the visibility requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority for the Padre Turcios court to operate as a heliport for the hospital.

Luis Fernando Andrés, director of Distribution of ICE’s Negocio de Distribución y Comercialización is very satisfied for the coordination efforts between his institution, the hospital and the CNFL. It is a small contribution that will allow to promptly address children’s emergencies.
