Fuel prices rose on July 1st. The increase was reported a few weeks ago and it was published in the Official Gazette on Thursday.
Those who want to fill up their cars’ tank with super gas will pay 84 colones more per liter, whereas people using premium gas or diesel must pay 77 and 71 colones more, respectively.
The Autoridad Reguladora de los Servicios Públicos (ARESEP) stated that the adjustment is due to international prices. These products had a great increase between May, 26th and June, 9th.
These are the new prices:
-Super gas: 602 colones
-Diesel: 451 colones
-Premium gas: 575 colones
-household gas: 251 colones.
