Gerardo Vargas accused Ronny Monge of spying on him

August 24, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Gerardo Vargas Varela, Frente Amplio (FA) representative, made a complaint of alleged espionage by Ronny Monge, from Partido de Liberación Nacional (PLN).

Vargas Varela said that Monge secretly requested to spy and record all his activities.

In later statements to the press, Varela asked Monge to clarify if he actually requested those actions, and he added that he is not certain about the espionage and that he will consult with his lawyer about the possibility of releasing of the recording that supports his accusations.

Meanwhile, Varela Vargas Monge challenged Varela Vargas to give up his parliamentary immunity if he cannot prove anything and he stated that he has nothing to spy on Gerardo Vargas.
