Train hit a woman in downtown San José

Yesterday, the train was involved in an incident again. This time it happened in downtown San José, close to Turrialba’s bus stop where a woman, who was near the railway, was hit by the train.

A woman was very close to the rail track and the train grazed her. An ambulance was called and took care of the incident,”

said María Fernanda Arias, spokeswoman for the Instituto Costarricense de Ferrocarriles (INCOFER). The woman was reported as stable.

The train was traveling from the Pacific station to Heredia.
