The Bank robbery suspects had police uniforms

September 1, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Seals from the National Bank to tie bundles of money, security forces uniforms, ski masks and a wig were found in the house where the 5 suspects of robbing the bank in Rio Frío were arrested.

On Wednesday, a 6-month detention penalty for the suspects was requested by the prosecutors.

Ministry of Public Security (MPS) spokesman Carlos Hidalgo said that they had no reports on the situation.

Apparently, the suspects also had uniforms. As a result, an investigation has to be conducted to confirm whether the clothes are official or not.
