Ten minors lived hell on earth for trusting a man who offered them a job in the modeling world. However, this was a screen to commit a series of sexual abuses.
The man offered the victims between 20 and 70 thousand colones to model clothing brands for a photoshoot. But this was the perfect excuse to commit ruthless abuses.
This was the modus operandi of Quesada Cubillo, who was sentenced to 50 years in prison for contacting 10 minors to commit the following crimes: 7 paid sexual abuses, 3 manufacture of pornography, 2 aggravated sexual abuse and 1 rape.
The incidents occurred between 2010 and 2011 in houses located between Moravia and Curridabat. According to the indictment, Quesada contacted vulnerable minors.
He convinced them, then forced each of them to pose naked and even required them to have sex with him to give them the money. Also, he repeatedly threatened the victims to not mention anything,”
quoted a report by the Public Ministry.
In most cases, Quesada sexually abused them and if they didn’t allow him to do so, he threatened not to pay the agreed amount of money.
