Pre-trial detention for alleged procurer

September 15, 2016 by Staff News Writer

A man surnamed Burgués will spend 2 months on pre-trial detention on suspicion of procuring in Escazú.

The Criminal Court on Special Duty made the decision after arresting him in a hotel, where several women prostituted themselves and he received part of their money.

Burgués was arrested because the Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ) has received confidential information regarding the activities in this hotel since January.
