Armed men invade home in Escazu

Four armed men wearing balaclavas assaulted a home on Monday evening in San Rafael de Escazú, according to the Judicial Investigation. The assailants entered through a garage door and took the occupants by surprise, forcing them to open a safe. Losses included 3,000 Euros ($4,081), a 9mm handgun, $800 in U.S. currency and a bracelet valued at $7,000.
