Turrialba volcano’s intensity has decreased. In recent days, eruptions, 500-meter plumes and ash columns took place. However, at this time, it is just emanating gases and steam.

Eliecer Duarte, volcanologist at the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica (OVSICORI) is in the area conducting an analysis and he informed that the tremor has greatly decreased. He added that the plume is emanating toward the east, it contains no ash, just gas and steam, The morning is clear. At night there were no significant eruptions and the expert does not believe there are deposited materials.
