Preventive actions in Limón: there are 400 police officers in the area

Minister Gustavo Mata ordered preventive actions in Limón. In addition, there are 200 more security forces officers in the area in order to greatly weaken criminal organizations and restore peace in the canton.

There are 400 police on land and sea to maintain constant operations and cooperate with investigations from the Judicial Investigation Organization.

Commander Juan José Andrade, director of Public Force, was vehement in stating that they won’t give in.

Police has carried out regular checkpoints in Cieneguita, Los Cocos, Los Lirios, Limoncito and Corales.

During a raid, police arrested other criminals. One of them is a 29-year-old man surnamed Ulloa, who was carrying a .40 weapon. In addition, a 26-year-old man surnamed Meza was also apprehended. Both of them were accused of aggravated robbery.
