To celebrate the National Doctor’s Day, health professionals will offer their services for free in the Health Fair. It is organized by the Association of Physicians and Surgeons.
The Health Fair will be held on October 10th and October 11th, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Association of Physicians in Sabana Sur.
We want to celebrate the National Doctor’s Day doing what we do best: assisting the population. It is a valuable opportunity to promote the need to go to the doctor and to monitor people’s health,
declared Alexis Castillo, president of the Association of Physicians and Surgeons.
Doctors aim to help people from low-income communities.
The fair will offer the following medical services:
-Dental check-up.
-Sight check-up.
-Blood tests.
-Bone densitometry.
-Papanicolaou.
-Male cytology.
-Nutritional consultation and treatment.
-Electrocardiograms.
-Skin cancer screening (dermatology).
-Ultrasounds in any area of the body.
To guarantee the services to many people as possible, each specialist will have a limited quota of 100 people and each person can receive only 2 procedures. People interested in attending the fair must call to 2210-2261 to make an appointment, provide their full names, identity card numbers and phone numbers; by doing this, an appointment will be scheduled.
