Police and citizens from La Cruz de Guanacaste are working together to face crime

Residents from La Cruz de Guanacaste created the Committee for Community Safety in Irving, a quarte of this area.

They were prepared by officers from the Preventive Programs of the security forces. This training strengthens Police-Community relationships in order to prevent crime.

In the first six months of this year, the security forces in Guanacaste capture 206 people who were evading justice.

According to the Police Department data, this is the second province after San José, with the highest number of apprehensions of fugitives.
