People from Limón will march for peace on October 15th

October 7, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Due to the recent events in Limón, a group of citizens is going to march for peace on October 15th.

The appointment is at 10:00 a.m. from Vargas Park to downtown Limón and then, people will return to the park to end the activity with a vigil.

Limón United for Peace March is organized by different support groups with the collaboration of the province’s legislators and many Costa Ricans are expected to join.

To participate, posters with messages of peace, petitions and positive declarations can be used. In addition, people can also wear a white shirt and take white balloons in memory of the innocent victims who died in the shooting at Cieneguita beach last Sunday.
