Boxing trainer allegedly drugged and sexually attacked 4 women

October 14, 2016 by Staff News Writer

A boxing trainer is wanted by the police on the suspicion of drugging and committing sexual offenses against 4 women.

The suspect was hunted in San Rafael Abajo de Desamparados by agents of the Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ), who raided his house, but failed to capture him.

Walter Espinoza, director of the OIJ said that this is a man of family names Sánchez Carranza, who is a coach of the Desamparados’ Sports Committee.

There are reports of two adult women and two underage,”

said the official.

The suspect was the coach of the victims. He took advantage of their trust to invite them to his home, drugged them and then sexually abused them.

So far, no substance has been detected, but the testimony of the victims indicates that he drugged them,”

added Espinoza.

Apparently, Sánchez  had a previous rape complaint in 2013. This was dropped after a process of reconciliation with the victim.

The current crimes have occurred in the last 4 years, and because of that, the OIJ is asking the community to reveal if there are more victims.

While Sánchez has not been arrested yet, Espinoza affirmed that it is a matter of time, due to relevant information in the hands of the OIJ.
