Building Companies are considering renewable energy as an alternative in their projects

October 20, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Costa Rican new building projects are taking into account the benefits of electric transportation. That’s why RC Real Estate is taking a step forward within their real estate proposals and they are offering parking spots for electric cars.

This company has two real estate projects: Bamboo Urbano, located on the ring road, and Bamboo 106, located in Lagunillas de Heredia. In both cases, they are offering residents the possibility of installing their own electric meter in case they want to buy an electric vehicle in the future: by doing it, its  charging could be done without any problem.

We found that some customers are requesting this type of parking lots, so we decided to offer the installation and do it if requested,

explained Andrea Corte, RC sales supervisor.

According to Corte, their goal is to help to lower the carbon footprint and mitigate climate change in a comfortable way by allowing owners to charge their electric vehicle in the parking lots, as well as measuring the amount of electricity that they are using.
