Authorities arrested three drug traffickers

On Saturday night and Sunday early morning, security forces apprehended three men and seized crack, cocaine and marijuana in two different operations.

The first action was achieved by San José police.

Officers conducted several investigations and they found a man surnamed Beckford. He had 117 doses of crack, 10 grams of cocaine and a dose of amphetamine.

The seizure took place in a building used by drug consumers in San José.

The second action took place in Villa del Mar in Limón, where police apprehended two men in a red car. According to the police report, when they saw Operational Support Group (GAO) units, they threw a package through the window. GAO officers Immediately went after both men and apprehended them. Their last names are Arauz and Martínez.

After the apprehension, security forces requested the support of the police dog Unit and the Police Drug Control (PCD), both from the Ministry of Security and they confirmed that the package cointained 2.14 kilograms of marijuana.
