A bill aims to include young people on the Board of Directors of the BANHVI

January 26, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The Legislative Commission on Youth, Children and Adolescents endorsed a bill that aims to include young people on the Board of Directors of the Banking Mortgage Bank (BANHVI).

The initiative would introduce an adjustment in the appointment of a youth representative in the administration of the bank.

According to legislator Silvia Sánchez, this decision would allow to meet the housing needs of that sector of the population.

I support this project because it goes hand in hand with the legislative agenda that promotes the benefit of young people, trying to meet their different needs in terms of employment, housing, mechanisms for effective participation, health, education and sport,

declared Sánchez.
