A commission will request Ana Gabriel Zúñiga’s removal

April 7, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The Commission for Control of Income and Public Expenditure of the Legislative Assembly will request President Luis Guillermo Solís the removal of deputy minister of the Presidency Ana Gabriel Zúñiga, for receiving ¢ 30 million as part of the exclusive-dedication Incentive without meeting the requirements.

They will also ask Zúñiga to return the money to the public treasury.

According to legislator Mario Redondo, president of that commission, these are the main recommendations that lawmakers will make to the executive branch.
