A cougar ate a turtle at Santa Rosa National Park

A video shared through social networks shows a cougar eating a turtle in the middle of the day at Santa Rosa National Park, Guanacaste. The images were published by Luis Fonseca, who works in the park and shared the video on Guanacaste Conservation Area Facebook page.

In the video, the cougar is calmly eating the turtle, which is near a tree. This situation generated some doubts and questions among followers, who asked about the situation.

The Conservation Area of this province confirmed the situation.

The cougar will kill the prey, eat it and then return to continue eating it, it is normal to take it away. It is a situation that we can enjoy through this video because it is a natural spectacle,
