A gas cylinder exploded in Alajuela

A 25-pound gas cylinder exploded in Palí supermarket, in Desamparados de Alajuela.

According to the fire department, the incident occurred because the bottom of a cylinder came off and there was a gas leak, but the structure was not affected.

Officials are checking the other gas cylinders.
