A landslide was reported in Cariblanco

The heavy rains this Sunday caused various incidents in the national territory, including a landslide that was reported in Cariblanco, Sarapiquí.

The Red Cross confirmed that after 6 pm an alert was received for a landslide on a house in that sector.

When arriving at the scene, the rescuers located two women with several blows. The entity said that both women were transferred to the local clinic and their condition is stable.

During the afternoon, important rains were registered in the national territory and in some communities damage to homes is reported, especially in the national Caribbean.
