A new mistake caused another nightmare at Juan Santamaría Airport

November 7, 2016 by Staff News Writer

Last week, Dr. Marcelo Cháves was a new victim of the problems with the SOAP system of the Judiciary Force.

Cháves, who is the coordinator of the graduate program of anesthesia at the University of Costa Rica, was heading to Santiago de Chile for a medical training. Everything seemed normal until 20 minutes before the takeoff, when the airline managers asked him to leave the plane.

The reason: Cháves appeared as a child support infringer by a complaint filed by a woman that he did not know.

The doctor, who also works for the Calderón Guardia Hospital said that the situation was quite uncomfortable and he felt morally affected.
