The finding of a new sea lion on Escondida beach, in Osa, was reported last Saturday.

The emergency corps and officials from the National System of Conservation Areas (SINAC), Osa Conservation Area and Marino Ballena National Park traveled to the place, where a sea lion was actually found laying on the rocks.

The animal was in an apparent state of dehydration and it was weak, so a veterinarian from Uvita made the proper evaluation.
