A puma showed up in a backyard in Ciudad Quesada

Imagine going to you backyard and finding a puma. This is what happened to a neighbor of Ciudad Quesada, on Thursday morning.

According to Fire Department, at around 5:00 a.m. the owner of the house saw the animal and called the authorities.

Firefighters and the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MINAE) coordinated with a veterinarian to sedate the animal and being able to remove it from the house.

As stated by the Firefighters, the animal was not aggressive at any time. It will now be taken to the La Marina Zoo.

During 2016 there were 8 thousand incidents with animals and there are already 1,766 cases in 2017
