February 4, 2018 by Staff News Writer

Rodolfo Piza was elected President of the Republic of Costa Rica in the children’s elections, which took place on Sunday, in the Multiplaza Shopping Centers Curridabat and Escazú. Piza obtained 26.69% of the votes.

The polls were opened between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm at each shopping center, so that children could also participate in this democratic celebration.

We arranged for our facilities to become voting centers so that children could experience and learn about the importance of presidential elections that we live so freely, in our country,”

said Elisa Rojas, Marketing Manager and Grupo Roble Sales.

Of the total of 994 votes cast, Piza obtained 252 valid votes. The Christian Social was followed by Carlos Alvarado with 183 votes and Fabricio Alvarado ranked third, with 172 votes in favor.

The results of the Multiplaza 2018 children’s elections can be consulted through the Facebook site “Multiplaza Costa Rica”.
