According to Mitofsky, just 10% of public opinion approves Solís’ administration

September 21, 2016 by Staff News Writer

According to a study conducted by Mexican firm Consulta Mitofsky, just 10% of public opinion approves President Luis Guillermo Solís’ management.

Costa Ricans have been reluctant to the president’s actions since 2014. Criticism has been constant and that is reflected in the polls.

Mitofsky made the presidents’ ranking after a compilation of surveys from different countries, making it clear that these evaluations are a way to measure the work performed by presidents, and that cannot measure the achievements of the administration.

Brazil’s president Michel Temer is the second worst qualified. Temer took office on August 31th after Dilma Rousseff’s deposition.

According to this study, presidents with the best approval levels are Danilo Medina from the Dominican Republic and Daniel Ortega from Nicaragua.
