Aiza joins Álvarez Desanti’s campaign

April 18, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Former pre-candidate Sigifredo Aiza accepted to join the campaign of the liberationist presidential candidate Antonio Álvarez Desanti.

This was announced after a meeting held at the Liberationist House José Figueres Ferrer, in Sabana Oeste, at 10 a.m. on Monday.

The integration of Guanacaste’s former legislator is part of the process of unification of the National Liberation Party (PLN) on April 2nd.

Álvarez explained that Aiza and his collaborators will be part of the team that will work on the development of the government program and will also participate in the proselytizing activities.

Aiza indicated that after the meeting they came to agree that the PLN should be a more participatory political grouping.

Former pre-candidate Rolando González was previously integrated to the campaign team of Álvarez, who added that he tried to coordinate a meeting with José María Figueres, but that they have not been able to schedule it.
