Albino Vargas and ANEP insist on indefinite strike

October 8, 2018 by Staff News Writer

The Secretary General of ANEP, Albino Vargas, said that this union and all its branches “do not give up” and will continue the indefinite strike.

The message was given after a meeting at the union offices, where a call was also made to the directors to meet on an Emergency Advisory Council next Wednesday at 8 am in the auditorium of the Episcopal Conference.

The idea is discussing following actions, after the approval in the first reading of the Project to Strengthen Public Finances; an initiative for which they went to the streets demanding its withdrawal from Congress.

SIPROCIMECA, ANPE, educators, and the Medical Union, announced that they also remain in protests.
