All legislators will receive a pain calendar

January 19, 2017 by Staff News Writer

According to the Pain Calendar organizing committee, each legislator will receive a pain calendar. They presented the project to the National Assembly.

The document, created by Salud sin Filas Movement, shows the cases of Costa Ricans who are waiting for an appointment at the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS).

They want a solution to reduce the CCSS long waiting lists.

Jorge Carreras, from the organizing committee, explained that the movement wants to confront politicians.

The calendar includes the CCSS insured patients’ appointments that were scheduled for 2018, 2020, 2024 and even 2028. It also includes the cases of at least 5 patients who already passed away.
