Alliance and talent foster Microsoft’s expansion in Costa Rica

The technology giant Microsoft will hire 280 new employees in the area of technology this year.

According to Jean Phillipe Courtois, Microsoft representative, the company is expanding and it intends to open a sales and a Customer Service and Support center in Costa Rica.

Courtois added that there is a series of necessary abilities to integrate in the area of Internet of things, and that they estimate Latin America will be the region with the highest growth in 2017.

Alexander Mora, Minister of Foreign Trade, said that these expansions could continue and that it is important to develop and strengthen education in universities.

The announcement was made on Saturday in Casa Presidencial.
