Another cyclist killed on the road

February 20, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Another unfortunate cyclist was a victim of road violence in Ciruelas, Alajuela on Sunday morning.

The conditions of the murder are not clear, but those who exercise on two wheels are in mourning once again.

When the Red Cross arrived, there was nothing they could do for the cyclist, who died almost immediately. The victim did not carry documents, so he hasn’t been identified.

The OIJ is working on the site to determine what happened.

On January 29th, three cyclists died after being run over in Curridabat, on the old road to Tres Ríos, and a woman was seriously injured.

Later, a 50-year-old named Cedeño was killed after being hit in Hatillo 8, 800 meters from the pedestrian bridge in the area.
