Another machete attack on a dog

February 19, 2019 by Staff News Writer

A dog was mercilessly attacked with a machete in several parts and then left to die in the old Cementerio de Leprosos in Tirrases de Curridabat.

The Press Office of the Ministry of Public Security (MSP) reported that the animal was rescued by officers of the Public Force that passed through the place.

The dog was moved to a shelter and it is stable, but it has several injuries.

The case will be transferred to the National Animal Health Service (SENASA), which should investigate the circumstances and those responsible for wounding the dog.
