Another victim of drug-related issues

July 5, 2016 by Staff News Writer

The body found last Friday in an empty land of Alajuelita belongs to a youngman named Castillo. He was 26 years old. He is related to other violent events that took place last week in San Vicente de La Unión.

The victim was Nicaraguan Michelangelo Narváez’s friend, who died after being tortured for drug-related issues.

Like Narváez, Castillo died because of asphyxiation. There is not an official complaint that makes us investigate if there is another missing person,

said Walter Umaña, head of Los Ríos’ Organismo de Investigación judicial (OIJ) delegation.

On the other hand, they confiscated drugs in small quantities and they checked other homes with great results.
However, as Umaña explained, these inspections can only be done with the owners’ consent.
