Are you a therapist or special education expert? Foundation needs volunteers

January 9, 2017 by Staff News Writer

There are many ways to support people who really need it. Donating time and passion is one of them.

Therefore, if you are physical or occupational therapist, an expert in speech therapy or special education, there is a foundation that needs your help to oversee the welfare and development of children and adolescents with disabilities.

Ayni Foundation works since 2012 in the search for equal opportunities for children and young people with disadvantages.

The foundation identifies children and young people with disabilities from vulnerable populations, to provide comprehensive care through education and special therapies.

They range from infants who require early stimulation, to 21-year-olds, who live in the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM) in poverty or social vulnerability.

“Ayni” is a Quechua word that refers to a working system based on mutual collaboration. Its philosophy is “today for you, tomorrow for me”.

If you are interested in working with them or donating, you can call 8859-0734.
