At least five thousand electrical services are still affected by winds

December 10, 2017 by Staff News Writer

The National Company of Force and Light (CNFL) indicated that at least five thousand electrical services continue to be affected due to the cold front.
The final report on Sunday indicates that 35 thousand clients were affected in six areas:

• San Ramón de Tres Ríos
• Rancho Redondo
• Las Nubes de Coronado
• Cedros Montes de Oca
• San Jerónimo de Moravia
• Coyella Fonseca Guadalupe sector

These are some of the actions carried out by the personnel of the CNFL: replacement of broken posts in Belén, Moravia, Tarbaca and San Luis de Santo Domingo. Complete circuits were also reviewed in Coronado, Santa Ana, Lindora Belén radial, Escazú Bello Horizonte, branches and some damaged lightning rods were removed.

It is important to point out that the effects of the cold front are in scattered places, so the restoration of the service is very complex.

The inventory of the largest damages in Rancho Redondo, Cascajal and Guadalupe center is also being carried out.
