Authorities caught Colombian with deportation order

September 25, 2017 by Staff News Writer

A Colombian man was arrested on Saturday in Tamarindo for having a deportation order issued by the Immigration and Foreigner Directorate.

The foreigner named Núñez stayed in front of a shop in the evening, and when he was asked for his documents, he did not carry any.

When investigating him in the systems, his immigration file popped up with an arrest warrant by deportation; as well as a record for carrying firearms.

The subject remained in the hands of the immigration authorities.
