Authorities found 20 packages of synthetic cannabinoids in Alajuelita

Authorities found 20 packages of synthetic cannabinoids in Alajuelita. It is known as k2.

A person took a package to the police station and the type of drug was determined.

We went to the place and other deteriorated packages were found. We think that they could have been there for several days. We are concerned about its easy access  because anyone could take them,

declared Guillermo Araya , director general of the Costa Rican Drug Institute (ICD).

Araya explained that among the effects of these drugs there are psychosis and loss of long-term memory, heart rate increase, which increases body temperature, and as consequence, people would remove their clothes. It also produces paranoia.
